Marje Luup
Ambassador of Estonia to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan
Marje Luup joined the foreign service in 1996. She previously served as Estonia’s Ambassador to India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. She also worked at the Estonian embassies in Helsinki and Stockholm as Economic Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission, respectively.
Between 2003 and 2010, Marje Luup headed the Development Cooperation Division of the External Economic and Development Cooperation Department at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2004 to 2010, she also served as Acting Director General for Estonian Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance. From 2013 to 2023, Marje Luup served as Director General of the Administrative Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tallinn.
